A fact-finding mission for company representatives and decision-makers from Thailand to Germany from 25-29 September 2023 will enable you to gather first-hand information on energy storage solutions (including hydrogen) and to establish business contacts with German companies. The fact-finding mission includes a networking event and on-site visits of best-practice projects.

Meet German companies

The networking event and information seminar will be held on 25 September in Berlin. The event provides insight into the current situation, trends and prospects for German energy solutions with regard to energy storage solutions, including hydrogen. You have the chance to exchange knowledge with German experts and company representatives.

On the following days, on-site visits to see best-practice technology applications and/or measures are planned for you in Berlin and its surrounding area.

You will benefit from a comprehensive information and visitor programme designed to foster the transfer of expertise.

Representatives from state-owned and private companies, grid operators, ministries, public authorities and energy associations who want to gain a first-hand insight into German energy solutions are welcome to join the fact-finding-mission.

Energy solutions made in Germany

By 2030, Germany wants to reduce emissions by 65% of 1990 levels and by 2040 reduction should reach 88%. For a secure renewable energy supply, sufficient storage capacity is infallible. As a result, the storage market in Germany has been expanding rapidly and boasted a capacity of 4,5 GW in 2022. This makes the German storage market one of the leading markets in the world. In comparison to 2021, total revenue of storage manufacturers in 2022 increased by over thirty percent, primarily in the building sector. Much more large-scale storage capacity will be needed in the industrial sector. Similar developments are taking place in hydrogen, as the government is looking to become a front runner in hydrogen use over the next few years.
