Decentralized energy generation from residual waste in the palm oil industry in Malaysia Energy Trade Mission

Introduction

Begin: 14/06/2021
End: 18/06/2021
Location: Online
Field of application/technology: Bioenergy, Energy generation, Energy infrastructure
Country of implementation: Malaysia
Target area: Asia, Southeast Asia

An energy trade mission to Malaysia comprising up to eight German companies offering sustainable technologies and smart solutions in the field of “Decentralized energy generation from residual waste in the palm oil industry” will take place from 14-18 June 2021. The trade mission includes a conference and individual business meetings.

With an annual product volume of over 20 million tons (as of 2019), Malaysia is considered the second largest crude palm oil producer in the world. A correspondingly large amount of residual waste (unusable plant parts and wastewater) arises from this production and is currently inadequately recycled. The industry is therefore looking for economic solutions to use them.

Connect with German companies

The virtual one-day conference on 15th June 2021 will showcase the expertise and the latest energy solutions from Germany and Malaysia. This conference provides a forum for networking, specialist talks, discussing current developments and the policy environment for smart energy solutions.

If you are interested in cooperating with German companies that provide solutions in and around biogas-technology, the German-Malaysian Chamber of Commerce will organise individual business meetings at your request throughout the trade mission week. You can gain insights into the products and services the participants offer and explore business opportunities with them.
