MIG is an R&D-intensive manufacturer of thin-layer insulation systems for applications in construction, industry, heating/cooling and hygiene. Instead of passively increasing thermal resistance, MIG-ESP® actively controls energy flow thanks to the DHMb® Double Hybrid Membrane technology that reflects energy and regulates moisture. Building surfaces are thus optimised to reduce energy demand in an environmentally sustainable and economically viable way. MIG was recognised by the EU as a “Key Innovator” (www.innoradar.eu) in 2020 for its development of an “active façade insulation system”.
