My name is Holger Schunk. Between 1996 and 2002 I studied construction and civil engineering. After having finished my studies, I worked as a planner and project manager for an engineering company and a project developer. Since 1 January 2008 I am the managing director of the engineering company SCHUNK Bau-Consult Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH. I was listed as a Qualified Energy Consultant by the German development bank KfW Förderbank (Consultant ID 26816): www.kfw-beraterboerse.de. We are specialising in low energy housing construction – for new and existing buildings. Consultations in the energy sector have become an important part of our work, not only with view to construction conditions, but also concerning process optimisation, combined heat and power etc. in SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises). We assess the building stock, equipment technology, electricity and gas purchasing. As a part of this, we conduct actual condition assessments and develop cost and energy saving strategies. We are part of an extensive network combining the competences in all spheres of construction, industry and trades. This network consists of experienced craftspeople, engineers and business economists.
