The Dresden-based company InfraTec GmbH Infrarotsensorik und Messtechnik is a specialist for products and services in the field of infrared technology. InfraTec was founded in 1991 and, with its own capacities in manufacturing and development, employs about 200 staff now. In the business field of sensor systems, custom-made components are produced on more than 1.000 m² of clean room space – especially pyroelectrical infrared detectors – for clients worldwide. The business sector of infrared measuring technology operates in all areas of thermographic applications, with its scope of performance ranging from sales of thermographic cameras to the self-developed and manufactured high-end thermal camera series ImageIR®. With more than 30 sales partners worldwide, InfraTec ranks among the largest suppliers of thermography and non-military thermal imaging systems across Europe. For approx. 20 years, InfraTec has been supplying thermal imaging technology to demanding customers among institutions, companies and organizations assigned with safety and security tasks. The equipment was tailored to their respective needs and specialized to their criteria of application. So e. g. a special solution of a rotation test bench is offered by InfraTec. This scope of performance is perfected by expert consultancy in the choice of equipment and by providing staff training when introducing thermal imaging technology.

Automated testing solution PV-LIT - Solar cell and solar module testing during manufactoring
The PV-LIT testing system exhibited during the fair represents the latest development of the modular product series by InfraTec which, at the same time, combines high performance capability with most excellent control comfort. Depending on the individual task and customer requirements, it is possible to operate with uncooled or cooled camera systems. The new systems by InfraTec achieve resolutions of up to (2,048 x 1,536) IR pixel with VarioCAM® High Definition and (1,280 x 1,024) IR pixel with ImageIR® 9300 and thus, even smallest failures can be captured with accuracy. The system enables testing of different kinds of defects. Numerous decisive testing criteria – such as limit values, temperature levels, number and size of defects – can be determined by the user. Short cycle times of less than a second and a reliable continuous operation allow for use in serial production. Flexible data interfaces permit optimal adjustment to local conditions.
