Biogas plant - pig manure and corn silage 999 kW

Lipp has designed and build this biogas plant together with the agricultural company who is utilizing the pig manure together with silage. The plant was originally designed to 500 kW but it has expanded above 1 MW now to meet the flexible operationg. Therefore in total 3 CHP units have been installed and an additional gas-holder as well as thermal storage buffer tanks to hold hot-water at 95°C for heating local industrial buildings and retirement homes.

Anaerobic Waste Water Treatment

Together with a local contractor Lipp has designed and built 4 x 5000m³ storage tanks for aggressive mandarine residue and further treatment of the liquid waste stream with the target to reach < 10.000 ppm BOD.

Biogas from pineapple waste and other fruits

In cooperation with a local partner Lipp has designed and built two biogas plants for the treatment of pineapple and fruits waste. The biogas is utilized in CHPs but also in burners to produce heat for the production process.
