This system tracks the sun on the East West axis, to be even more efficient.The collectors solar irradiation received on the reflective surface of the collectors are concentrated on the absorber tube and the fluid inside the absorber tube is heated. This tube is shrouded by a glass tube to reduce the thermal losses. This efficient design allows fluid temperatures between 150-250°C to be achieved. This temperature range is optimum, not only for the double effect absorption process, but also for the process steam generation. Thanks to the automated production line, SOLITERM has achieved a reduction in the manufacturing costs of high quality concentrating collectors and thereby changed the expensive image of solar energy.
