The PV-Projects Agency (PV-PA) is an independent Berlin/Hamburg-based service company for consultancy and project development in the field of renewable energies, energy efficiency and sustainable development. Established in 2009, activities of PV-PA focus on the further dissemination of solar energy technologies and use through realization of new overseas market development projects for international PV-firms, governments and NGOs. Current assignments of PV-PA comprise amongst others the (i.) implementation of Solar Vocational Training Centres („Solar VTC‘s“), (ii.) demonstration of renewable energy systems, their use and benefit and (iii.) marketing of products of solar PV manufacturers and system integrators in attractive African markets like Ghana, Cameroon, Tanzania. PV-PA is partner of the International Institute for Sustainability Management (IISM) at SRH Hochschule Berlin: activities there incorporate research about the „implementation of innovative financing models for PV in low-income regions“ and innovative “Intensive Training Courses” for future SRH-certified „Solar Employees“ and „Solar Entrepreneurs“ (SRH Solar Winter School, SRH Solar Summer Team-up!). The agency's managing director, Matthias Raab, is a longtime expert in the photovoltaic industry with a comprehensive network and relevant know-how. Mr. Raab firmly believes that „The integration of renewable energies into the existing power infrastructures as well as the efficient energy supply and its utilization are essential requirements for sustainable development and the survival of the world’s population under human conditions.“
