After a construction time of nine months, Glen Dimplex Deutschland GmbH celebrated the opening of its new information and communication centre "Glen Dimplex Forum" at the main site in Kulmbach in September 2012. From October, over 100 seminars a year attended by around 1500 participants will be held by the business divisions Dimplex and Riedel. Dimplex focuses on heat pump technology, solar and ventilation. Riedel Kältetechnik passes on knowledge in matters relating to cooling for industry, commerce and medical technology. Devices from Dimplex are used to provide a pleasant room climate and domestic hot water: A reversible air-to-water heat pump, for example, helps guarantee pleasantly tempered rooms, which stay cool in summer and pleasantly warm in winter.
