The Mall of Scandinavia - the largest shopping centre in Europe

The Mall of Scandinavia is known as one of the most expensive shopping centres ever built in Europe, with a record investment of 640 million euros. The entrance of the mall is equipped with linear, custom made floor light lines from the series ''instalight 1060 LX RGBW'' (á 710 mm with 3 pixels). To create a unique mirror image the customer decided to use also LEDLUX LX RGBW for the integration into the glass ceiling. A new aluminum profile with an opaque diffuser was supplied by Insta Lightment. Overall, there were about 530 lines of light installed in the ground floor and over 700 luminaires with RGBW light from the Insta- LEDLUX Portfolio in the ceiling area. The entire lighting, power and security control was developed and delivered in eleven custom built cabinets by Insta. Insta Lightment (Germany) supplied LED luminaires, lighting control systems, electronic cabinets, components, light scene programming and on site support.

Europaplatz Luxemburg

Refurbishment of in-ground luminaires at Europaplatz in Luxemburg LED-luminaires LEDLUX Plane LS of Insta were installed into 550 inground luminaires of type BEGA Art.-No. 8620 + 8621. This reduced the connected load from formerly 20 KW to 6.25 KW. With an average of 3,000 burning hours per year, so the operator Ponts et Chausées in Luxemburg, 41,250 KWh per year are now saved. Formerly, compact fluorescent lamps 18 W were integrated into the luminaire housing. Maintaining the same optical effect, the energy consumption was now divided by three. It should be mentioned that maintenance costs could also be considerably reduced, for now there is no need to loosen 16 screws per luminaire every two years. According to the operator, he will make a profit already after two maintenance intervals saved.

instalight Glow 2031

Glow instaligt 2031 This new Insta product is a built-in or surface-mounted ceiling luminaire. It is suitable for corridors or entrance and reception areas with comfortable direct or indirect light. The LED luminaire has got a connected value (incl. ballast) of 30 W. It replaces the currently common and still often used downlights, equipped with compact fluorescent lamps of type 2 x 26 W incl. ballast approx. 3 W , so that it sums up to a connected load of approx. 55 W with the same utilized flux. So 25 W per luminaire are saved. Taking the example of a corridor, equipped with 100 luminaires with a burning time of 4,000 h per year, savings amount to 10,000 KWh.

Townhall Bröndby, Denmark.

Refurbishment of canteen, corridors and council hall of the townhall in Bröndby, Denmark. 108 pieces of old incandescent lamp downlights 60 W and 42 pieces of 20 W halogen wall spots were replaced by LED downlights, type instalight 3222 with 10.5 W and instalight 3210 with 6.9 W connected load. Taking into consideration the ballast losses, this amounts to a difference of formerly 6,120 W connected load to 1,423 W now. Savings: 4,696 W, this corresponds to 3/4 of the consumption. With an average of 2,500 burning hours per year, this saves about 11,750 KWh. This makes the lamp change once or twice a year, which is necessary with incandescent lamps, redundant.
