As a extrusion coatuing company, CaPlast has been active on the European market for over 40 years as a supplier of energy-efficient products - especially to the building and automotive industry. We offer various solutions of coated materials such as membranes, underlay and sheathing membranes for pitched roofs as well as air and vapour barriers for the building envelope. Next to this we are also in a leading position for tube liners and various other fields of application. CaPlast's developments for the automotive industrie are mainly related to composite materials for lighter body constructions.
Next to all standard coating materials we are specialised on newer coating materials such as thermoplastic polyurethane, co polyamide or co polyester. This special know-how and our drive to develop energy efficient, customized solutions has made us sucessful in the past - it our goal to continue our extensive growth with new sustainable solutions.
We offer a wide range of tensioned sub-membranes for pitched roofs for various construction solutions. Especially the VALMEX XL, a heavyweight, vapor permeable sub layer roofing membrane made of PES non woven material coated with a special monolithic film (TPU), further improve the vapor problem and the u-value.
Energy efficient air and vapor barriers
We offer all kind of vapor barries based coated paper, aluminium or non woven materials. For example VALMEX® RENOVA, a triple layer vapor retardant membrane made out of PP non woven with a laminated humidity controlling foil. As a part of our system solution this barrier takes care, that only a limited amount of water vapor can permeate the VALMEX® RENOVA, which is indicated in the air humidity adaptation value sd of 1 to 3 m.
