> Modular solar tracking system enables scalable parabolic troughs and Fresnel plants, that generate heat and steam from 100 to 400 °C for energy-intensive industry processes INTER CONTROL develops and produces innovative and reliable solar tracking systems. It is mainly used in scalable parabolic troughs and Fresnel plants to generate industrial process heat. The areas of the solar modules range between 100 to 140 m² per drive unit, depending on customer construction. INTER CONTROL offers producers and project companies of CSP plants (CSP = Concentrated Solar Power) complete, reliable and innovative tracking systems. The tracking systems are ready-to-install, consisting of modular drive units, controls, angle sensors and accessories. The centerpiece of the drive units are the slide bearing rotary drives, which include the drive and bearing in a single product. Due to the symmetrical design of the drives they offer a unique scalability of the CSP plants. They also have a high angle positioning accuracy at high torques and made for long-term use under extreme outdoor conditions. Thus, manufacturers of parabolic troughs do not need to install torsional stiffness over the entire length of CSP plants. The material, design and assembly complexity is significantly reduced. Lighter and cost-effective CSP collectors are used.
