Innovative heating systems by SCHEER Heizsysteme & Produktionstechnik GmbH
Within our projects, we closely work with SCHEER Heizsysteme & Produktionstechnik GmbH, manufacturer for energy-efficient products for real estate. Already in 1983 the first heating system of SCHEER with an including oil burner got the famous environmental label "Blue Angel". Today the main products of SCHEER are innovative condensing boilers and sun energy collectors for warm water and heating with oil burners. The oil burners of SCHEER use blue flame technology by 2700° F with equal zero soot on the flame and won the award "Schmidt Römhild-Technology award". The range of SCHEER-products comprehend burners for biofuels (btl, biomass-to-liquid), heat pumps and solar thermal energy. The oil burner Blautherm DUO is a development of the company and a burner of the new generation. It is blue flame burner with zero soot. You can use this burner for every central-heating boiler. The construction is so modified that a spontaneous combustion of the fuel is possible. This kind of combustion is the reason for the reduction of emission from 60-80% of the heating system.
GeoCITTI
In times of scarce energy resources, rising energy costs and climate change we identified the need to apply other innovative and renewable energy technologies. The aim of this project is the use of geo-thermal energy technology for the optimisation of commercial real estate and new buildings using the example of CITTI-park shopping mall in Kiel. Within this project, the underground heat energy is analysed and eventually processed both for heating and cooling and of the mall, therefore reducing the electrical energy consumption and waste as well. On the basis of attained results, a general and innovative comprehensive energy-concept will be developed.
Energy-efficient cutter fleet
Being close to both the Northern and the Baltic Sea, fishery is a traditional North German economic sector, which is greatly affected by the rising energy costs. These days the fishermen spend up to 25 % of their earnings on fuel, the prices of which have continuously risen within the last years while the technical equipment on the cutters is in parts up to 30 years old and far from being energy effifient. The project "energy-efficient cutter fleet" aims to detect individual energy consumption and waste on selected cutters, optimise the energy efficiency for all operating conditions and to improve the general working conditions on board by reducing noise, heat, emissions and other dangerous substances. The results attained on the selected cutters will eventually be applied to the whole fleet, benefiting not only the fishermen and the traditional economic branch fishery, but also the whole economy and competitiveness of the region.
