UNITECH-Kunststoff GmbH was founded 1978 in the scenically appealing area of the Hegau, close to the Lake Constance. First of all UNITECH was manufacturing humidifiers from reinforced fibreglas and stainless steel, but only 2 years later we started with the construction of airhandling-units for special solutions. Since 2004 UNITECH is also constructing and producing de-humidifiers / dryers on high efficient LiCl-basis, which resemble our airwashers from the construction-manner, but were adjusted complexly for the particular requests. UNITECH expirience ranges from manufacturing for the textile- and power plant industry, clean-room units for the computer- and pharma-industry as well as for airconditioning of airports, hotels, offices and similar applications. Our strength is the ability to provide individual designed solutions for all our customer requirements.

Airwasher for waste-air-treeatment
UNITECH provides special-constructions for use in waste-air-treatment Systems, as highly efficient washer in chemical or pharmaceutical industries for removal or neutralisation of odours and conterminations like dusts, aerosols and steams. Example of an UNITECH airwasher as indispensable component in a BIOFILTER-SYSTEM in Brazil for air purification by natural means. Biofilter-systems can be used for air purification in waste water treatment, composting plants, waste water dewatering plants, in the food or chemical industry etc..
Cooling-washer for special use in the food industry
UNITECH airwashers are designed for adiabatic air conditioning / cooling or alternatively as "heating" - or "cooling" washer (non adiabatic,respectivly more then adiabatic change in air condition) The picture shows a special construction of a cooling-washer in vertical system for the food industry in Switzerland with a cooling capacity of 125 kW. The used cooling medium in this case is riverwater.
Airhandling units / Reinforced fibreglas airhandling units
UNITECH Airhandling-Units are individual designed solutions for our customer requirements. In order to be able to comply with all technical requirements we can offer three different basic systems: 1. Big size units in large panel construction. 2. Standard units we herby use an aluminium frame construction with doubleskin panels (25mm or 50mm). The panels can be made of stainless steal, galvanized, coated or powder coated. 3. Reinforced fibreglas units are special units constructed in the non-metallic material (reinforced fibreglas). This system becomes particularly interesting with especially aggressive air (for example acidic) like the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Somtimes it could also be an alternative to a stainless-steel unit. The picture shows a reinforced fibreglas unit for airconditioning of chemical laboratories in Germany.
De-humidification system on LiCl basis
UNITECH De-Humidifier-Systems For production-processes where sterility must be guaranteed, where humidity and heat are undesirable, UNITECH De-Humidifier/Dryer Systems offer you an ideal solution. Dry air without the use of mechanical chillers. The air will be dehumidified and cooled in the spray-chamber of the CONDITIONER in contact with the absorber solution (liquid Lithium Chlorid solution). Leaving air humidity condition can be as low as 20% relativ, at temperatures freely selectable by choosing the appropriate water coolant temperature. The air unit construction is using SPRAY NOZZLES (no Fillpack), therefore you have free access to all parts for cleaning and maintenance. The solution is recirculated in the REGENERATOR part of the system, where the absorbed water is driven out of the solution by applying heat, and transferred into the secondary airstream which is transporting it to the outside. Lithium-Chlorid (LiCl) solution used for recirculation is non-toxic and does not vaporize. The solution is stable and acts desinfecting by removing bacteria out of the airstream. Reference plants up to airflow volumes of 120 000 m3/h in food and pharmaceutical industry. We offer complete systems with regenerator, energy-recovery and controls. We also exchange parts of existing systems. UNITECH De-Humidifier/Dryer are individual designed solutions according to your requirements and field conditions.
